I love nothing more than scrolling through Instagram and coming across Carrie's beautiful snaps. Her photos always capture the moment and from food, flowers, lifestyle and travel every thing she posts is Pin worthy and dreamy. Carrie always stays true to her style which flows through her blog and Instagram account which is why it is one of my favourites.

I love reading Liv's blog and following her Instagram she shares recipies, food, pretty clothes and fun her account is so pretty. As Carrie, Liv has her own unique style and I love her snaps. I need to get myself to a Bill's restaurant pronto, and love the fact Liv has just dipped her toes in the water with Youtube, it's going to be good.

Dreamy, classic, effortless and Parisian are just some of the words that I think describe Arabella's beautiful account. I love Arabella's style and blog, she is also a complete magpie for statement jewelled accessories and beautiful makeup. I am envious of her gorgeous Chanel bag, her account is macaroon and peony a plenty and I think it is perfect.

I read Nouvelle Daily, well (ahem) Daily and the Instagram account is just a reflection of the blog, it is full of beauty, lifestyle and fashion and not forgetting the beautiful photography which is why I love the Instagram account. Makeup, home inspiration and delicious recipes, pretty things every day which is why Nouvelle Daily is one of my favourite blogs and Instagram accounts.

THINGS I LIKE TO DO ON SUNDAY

WASH BRUSHES 

Washing my makeup brushes is one of those chores that no one wants to do, makeup just loves to cling onto the brushes but to get clean brushes it is a necessary evil. I wash my brushes whilst watching Gossip Girl to make the chore a lot more enjoyable. 

RE-ORGANISE MAKEUP 

I re-organised my makeup storage whilst I was washing my makeup brushes because I realised I finally had enough lip products to fill it as it looked strange before when it wasn't full. I used to just keep my perfume up here but I thought it looked a little messy and I really like that there is space in my lip storage to keep my favourite perfumes too. 

GOSSIP GIRL  

I love catching up on Gossip Girl whilst I'm washing my make up brushes and painting my nails. It is also my favourite show to watch whilst blogging. (I'm watching as we type) I love having Netflix on my iPad, it means I can watch whilst I work and take my favourite TV shows with me. 

PAINT NAILS  

I paint my nails on a Sunday, it is my dedicated nail painting day (Yes sad I know). I just like to start the week off with fresh nails. I still love using my Ciate mini nail polishes, last week I went with a pretty grey colour and this week I have gone for one of my favourites kiss chase the pretty pink colour. 

SOCIAL NETWORK 

Working a full time 9-5 job means social networking is done before, at lunch time and after work. I like to catch up with it on the weekend and that is the time I get to mostly post on Instagram as I have a lot more to post on the weekend. My user name is @loveiconfantasyego I have got back into Pinterest lately too, I love pretty images so I enjoy filling my boards with pretty pins Lifeloveicon I am also on twitter @loveiconblog and Facebook loveiconfantasyego which I post my blog updates.

ON SATURDAYS WE WEAR PINK

It has been quite a while since we have been shopping in Birmingham and as there has been a few bits and bobs that I have had my eye on, so I thought we would pop in and have a look around. Shopping turned into a massive fail as all I picked up was a MAC lipstick, I picked it out from the Lustre section as my favourite lipstick 'Syrup' is a Lustre one. However when I got into the car I realised it was actually Amplified which I have never tried before so hopefully it will be ok. 

After the failed shopping mission we were really thirsty because the weather is beautiful and rather hot at the moment in the UK. We popped to Starbucks to get a refreshing drink and sat on the steps in Brindley Place just enjoying the sunshine. 

Originally I did plan on Vlogging my day however trying to do so on a busy Saturday just after pay day in Birmingham is not the best of ideas but whilst we sat on the steps, we took some photos so I thought I would pop them on my blog as I love lifestyle posts.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE

After writing my last blog post on Saturday about moving out I only put a couple of snaps of my dressing/blogging room in the post. I'm going to be honest, I have been struggling on things to write about because all I seem to do is take pictures of my food on my Iphone and on days out with perfect blog post opportunities I have managed to mostly leave my camera in my bag... 

Teeny bit of a fail on my part, however I aim to fix that. 

I love this room, it is totally my style and I love being in here. (I'm in here as I type) I brought my bed from my old bedroom as I bought it with the intention of it coming to live with us in the spare room when we eventually got our house. The duvet set is from Wilkinson which I love however the pillows are missing in this photo and the duvet is chevron on the other side which is my favourite. 

I have always stood up doing my makeup which isn't ideal however you do get used to it. I knew that I wanted a white desk and the MALM from Ikea was perfect for this. I actually wanted to get something different as so many people have this desk however for the price and size it is perfect.

One thing I really love about my desk is that it doubles up as a dressing table and a place where I can write my blog, pin away on Pinterest and read other blogs and watch youtube videos till my hearts content. The glass top means any spilt make up or food (Chocolate crumbs) get cleaned up in a swipe. Luckily I haven't had to face a nail polish spillage yet.

MOVING OUT

After I moved home I stopped blogging... I have now realised that once you stop writing, the harder it is to get back to it. So now I am writing the blog post that I really wanted to write about five months ago now, so I can only apologise for that if you wondered why I have been MIA. 

Moving out of my Mom and Dad's home wasn't easy. I didn't follow the same path as lots of my friends and go to University as I decided it wasn't for me, instead I left college and entered the world of work. So doing the first food shop, buying furniture and watching your hard earned money disappear on bills and washing up liquid (Talk about throwing money down the drain...) Isn't so fun. 

That being said I love having my own home I have my own blogging/dressing room which hasn't been blogged in until now, not sure that is a word but anyway. I love it as it is my little space where I can escape and keep my makeup and pretty things. My dressing table also doubles up as a desk but it works and really enjoy it if you read the post from my bedroom at my Mom and Dad's house you will spot a familiar colour scheme and bits and bobs which you can read HERE.

I love buying trinkets and bits and pieces to make our house a home. I bought a beautiful vase last weekend and I'm always on the look out for lovely home wares that don't break the bank. Our cushions on the sofa were actually from Asda and the three frames that you can see we bought the frames from Wilkinsons and filled them with wallpaper cuttings, so you definitely don't have to spend a fortune to fill your home, it's all about shopping savvy. 

My boyfriend cooks so I definitely can't take credit for the delicious meal that he cooked for us both. I actually took that photo back in April as he cooked it over my birthday weekend which was delicious and we finished it off with a glass of wine, perfection.
