PASTEL GRUNGE

I go through phases with my nails of painting them for a while and then not painting them for ages and trying out new things. I bought the black glitter nail strips from H&M, I wanted to try them out again properly as my first attempt was on the train on the way to London Fashion Week and I was biting them as I had no scissors to get them the correct size... I've been itching for the sun to come out, so on Thursday night I gave my nails a pastel treat inspired by the Ciaté Doll House collection. They were perfect as the sun came out on Friday and the weather has been lovely all weekend.

FLIRTY FLORALS

Paris fashion week ended on Wednesday and that means it is the end of fashion month until next season. It got me thinking about my day at London Fashion Week and I remembered that I hadn't posted my pictures in front of the Dior store in Covent Garden. I always say that unplanned, natural photos and when I am just being myself are the best ones. We took these photos on the way to grab some food before the Sibling show and I just love the flowers.

I can't wait for the warmer weather and lighter nights to arrive. Flowers and summer days are definitely needed. I love wearing boots in winter until February when the spring/summer collections start appearing in stores and I just want to be out of winter clothes into something light, pretty and not my boots.

HELLO LITTLE PANCAKES

This morning for pancake day I decided to change up my breakfast and create a little pancake stack because I always see them on pinterest and my instagram feed and they look amazing! I normally have cereal or porridge with blueberries for breakfast, so it was a lovely treat this morning to have a change. I cheated a little and bought Morrisons own scotch pancakes which I grilled on both sides for a minute each. I struggle getting out of bed in the morning so quick and easy is key! I added a little bit of hot water to my jam to make a syrup which I put in-between the layers and drizzled on top. I topped them off with blueberries and chopped up strawberries and a dusting of icing sugar. They were so delicious that I am having them again tomorrow!
